Welcome to Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church!
Like God's love, our welcome is unconditional.
To all, including those who have known the pain of exclusion or discrimination from church or in society, we offer a place of welcome, respect, and love. It is in this spirit that we invite ALL* people to join us on a journey of faith.
*As a reconciling congregation, ALL people are welcome including people of any race, sexual orientation, gender identity, faith history, socioeconomic status, physical and mental ability.
Sunday - 4PM
First Sunday Taize Service - 6 PM
In addition to our morning worship, on the first Sunday of each month, we respond to the word of God with simple and repetitive songs, prayer and silence.

Battle Ground Community United Methodist Church
This is an ecumenical service, meaning that churches from all over our community are participating! We'll have a message from Pastor Mike White from the Hockinson Community Church. It's a joy to host the service this year!
Giving Tuesday - Tuesday, December 2
The United Methodist Church is providing an alternative to the consumer-driven shopping traditions in the United States like Black Friday, Local Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. UMC Giving Tuesday offers an opportunity to begin the holiday season by giving instead of getting, by supporting organizations and missionaries who have been researched and approved by the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries. 100% of all gifts through umcmission.org/give are given directly to the designated project. You get to pick a project that is meaningful to you and support it this Christmas season.
Sunday, December 7, come to a party after worship to celebrate our church's new welcoming statement. This is a Welcome Home party: welcome home (again!) to all who have made this church a welcoming place for years, and welcome home to all in our community who are searching for a spiritual home. Bring a friend and come celebrate!
We're exploring ways to celebrate Christmas simply and joyfully.
Sunday, November 30: Simply Say No
Sunday, December 7: Simply Say Yes
Sunday, December 14: Simply Spend Less
Sunday, December 21: The Simple Story - A Spontaneous Christmas Pageant
Wednesday, December 24: Christmas Eve - Candlelight and Carols
Join us and let's learn together how to celebrate simply!
